BuckStop Hunting club has 1 membership opening for the 2010-2011 season. We have 889 contiguous acres; leased from Westervelt Wildlife Services and Weyerhaeuser Paper Company. The property is located in northwest Greene County less than a mile from the Sipsey River. Between the 2 leases, we have 9 green fields that are anywhere from ¾ of an acre to just under 2 acres. 8 of the 9 fields have shooting houses. The property is mostly planted pines, in age from clear-cut 4 months ago to 14 year old pines. There are various SMZ’s that run throughout the property as well. Landowners around us on 3 sides are also on quality deer management programs. The property has been managed under QDM for the last 15 years. The largest buck killed on the property netted 146 7/8” B&C and we’ve had several bucks killed that were b/w 120” - 130” B&C. The total number of members will not exceed 6. We are looking for a member that is enjoyable to hunt with, and that embraces quality deer management principles. We do not allow any alcohol on the property at anytime. Bucks must be at least 3.5 yrs old before they can be harvested. We are a Christian oriented group of guys that enjoy hunting, laughing and spending time with friends and family.
